1.
Pre-Sales Engineer (1 X Lahore and Islamabad )
|
|
Description: As Pre-Sales engineer you will be responsible for pre-sales activities in the assigned region. You will maintain contacts with high officials of NE’s customers, provide presentations on customers IT requirements, develop extensive documentation on IT solutions primarily Cisco based, arrange customer meetings with NE’s technical leads for better customer interaction. You should in general be able to provide IT solutions that would best meet the customer’s requirements.
Qualification : MBA with engineering background would be excellent match for this position; however this requirement can be relaxed based on experience. 1-2 years of experience in pre-sale capacity. Good knowledge of Cisco product portfolio is desired. Technical skills should include few or more of the following: Routing (BGP, OSPF, RIP, EIGRP), LAN switching, ATM, ISDN, Frame Relay, DSL, Security (firewalls, Intrusion detection devices and VPN), Cisco Call Manager and Unity, Voice Gateways. Relevant Cisco certifications and experience in Service Providers will be a big plus.

2.
Sales Manager (1 x Lahore and Islamabad )
|
|
Description
: Develop sales plans for specific accounts in assigned region. Prepare responses for RFPs and new service bids or proposals. Negotiate the services aspect of the contract. Meet and exceed the sales targets for the accounts. Conduct regular account reviews with the project management office and technical leads. Drive the sales of new services within Customer and act as the advocate for customer issues. Assist contracts management in the renewal process and close major renewals. Drive the sales of new services.
Qualification: MBA from a recognized university. 3-4 years in pre-sales and 1 year solid sales experience in high technology sales management capacity. Experience in strategic account management, strong understanding of networking products and their applications, experience in developing high availability support solutions for mission critical networks. The individual should be team player and should have proven skills of management by influence. General understanding of legal aspects of contracts. Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills are required. Prior experience in Service Providers will be a big plus.

3. Software Engineer (3 X Lahore ) |
|
Description:
A Software Engineer/Developer(male/female), who can start work ASAP, must have at least 2 years commercial experience and his/her skill set must include C/C++, Java, VB, .NET, Strong SQL and Web Application Development. Whereas knowledge of .NET Environment, Crystal Reports, C# and Software Repository exposure would be a plus.
Qualification: MCS or at least BCS from a recognized university. 2-3 years of hands-on experience with the above mentioned would be Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills are required. Prior experience in a similar environment will be a big plus.

Description:
Manager O&M is the most demanding and highly challenging position in both technical and management aspects. This individual will look after the company wide O&M operations and for the most part, deal with extremely complex networking problems. With exceptional communications, managerial and technical skills, this person will be a role model for the operations engineers and lead the O&M team to provide customer service of unmatched quality. This person will be a member of senior management team reporting directly to CEO/COO. S/he will be a hands-on technical leader, as well as a strategic thinker who understands the importance of driving the technology function to maximize the company’s overall business objectives and strategic vision. S/he must demonstrate a positive attitude, the ability to succeed in a rapidly changing environment, strong business acumen, sharp technical skills, and superior communication and interpersonal skills.
• A demonstrated ability to lead by personal example and the willingness to take responsibility and ownership. This position requires good personnel management as well as good decision making and ability to influence team direction.
• The ability to effectively communicate with senior management, client and all stake holders
• Coordinate between multiple vendors and follow escalation procedures to involve all interested parties to ensure quick resolution of critical issues
• Manage a team of engineers working on diverse technology areas, assign roles and responsibilities and manage their time schedules
• The ability to promote, maintain, and support the implementation of technology best practices
• Provide hands on troubleshooting assistance to support engineers and take the ownership of escalated network problems
• Be an expert on supported Cisco technologies and products the foremost of which include but not limited to IGP routing, BGP/MBGP, fiber optics, LAN switching, firewalls, Intrusion detection systems, network analysis, MPLS, MPLS VPNs, MPLS TE, QoS, Netflow, Network Management Systems (CiscoWorks, Cisco ACS, Cisco AR), BRAS, Content Switching, ISP Setups, data center technologies and designs, Value added service creation, Some familiarity with Wireless and VoIP, familiarity with Cisco hardware such as 7600, GSR, 7200 platforms, FWSM, ASA5500, IDSM/IDS 4250, AS54xx/AS53xx Access servers, familiarity with Windows and Sun Solaris administration
• In general, ensure smooth operation of the supported network and be a single point of contact for overall support queries. In addition, identify team development requirements and groom the team for improved technical skills and efficient support operations
Qualification:
A bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic/telecommunications engineering is desirable; however an advanced degree in any of the above fields would be highly sought. A master’s degree in computer science can be considered in exceptional cases depending on experience. Cisco certifications are also desirable; CCIE would be highly desirable, but CCNP and/or CCIP would also be considered. Certification requirements can be relaxed depending on experience and education. 8-10 years of experience is desirable with at least 3 years in senior management and technical role. Strong and confident communications, technical writing, reporting and presentation skills are strongly preferred..

5. Assistant Manager Security (1 x Lahore and 1 x Karachi)

Description:
• Excellent understanding of security technologies and products and security best practices both in service provider and enterprise market
• Installation, configuration and support of all security products and technologies
• Monitor all security devices and generate security/threat reports periodically
• Recommend security updates and assist senior team member in implementation of security updates into the network
• Be single point of contact for all security issues and support escalation engineers for quick resolution of problems
• Monitor network health and report any security holes and provide recommendations
• Be the subject matter expert (or become one) on Cisco security solutions and products
• Support products that include but not limited to IDSM, IDS4250, ASA5500, FWSM, IPSec VPNs and VPN concentrator, IOS firewalls and IPS, LAN switches security, Cisco Secure ACS and Access Registrar, Wireless Security, Cisco Works VMS, IPT security
• Excellent communications, writing and reporting skills
Qualification:
A bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic/telecommunications is required. Cisco CCSP is highly desired but can be relaxed depending on experience and education. However the individual should have plans to acquire CCSP within 6 months of employment. 3-5 years of experience in security and hands on major Cisco security solutions and products.

6- Assistant Manager Wireless Networks (1 x Lahore and 1 x Karachi)

Description
: This position is mid-level management position reporting to Manager O&M. In general, this individual is responsible for the wireless part of the network.
• Manage a team of wireless network engineers and act as escalation point
• Be able to take technical ownership and responsibility of the wireless network
• Provide hands on support to junior engineers on nationwide Wi-Max and Wi-Fi based wireless networks
• Be the subject matter expert (or become one) on wireless technologies and products
• Manage and monitor wireless network management systems • Coordinate support activities with vendor and ensure quick resolution of issues
• Excellent communications, technical writing and reporting skills.
Qualification: A bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic/telecommunication is required. An advanced degree in any of above disciplines would be highly preferred. Some certification in wireless would be appreciated as well. 3-5 years experience of installation and support of Wi-Max and Wi-Fi systems. Experience on Cisco wireless products and NMS would be preferred.

7. Assistant Manager Core Technologies (2 x Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad)

Description
: This position is mid-level management position reporting to Manager O&M. In general, this individual is responsible for the core service provider network and data center.
• Manage a team of engineers responsible of supporting core network
• Be able to take technical ownership and responsibility of the core network technologies and elements
• Provide hands on technical support to junior engineers
• Be the subject matter expert (or become one) on the deployed technologies and products
• Manage and monitor network management systems
• Coordinate support activities with vendor and ensure quick resolution of issues
• Excellent communications, technical writing and reporting skills
• Familiar and/or expert on few or more of the following technologies and products: IGP routing (OSPF, IS-IS, EIGRP, RIP), BGP/MBGP, MPLS and MPLS services (L2/L3 VPNs, Traffic Engineering, QoS), Netflow, optical interfaces, 7600 and GSR platforms, CiscoWorks NMS, Data Center technologies, LAN switching and LAN QoS, ISP setups, access servers and BRAS, some familiarity with Windows and Solaris administration
Qualification: A bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic/telecommunications or an advanced degree in any of these fields is desirable. Cisco certifications such as CCNP, CCIP will be highly preferred. 3-5 years of experience supporting complex IP networks involving diverse technologies and products.

8. Network Engineer, Wireless (3 x Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad)

Description
:This individual will be reporting to Asst. Manager Wireless Networks and will be providing first line support to wireless clients.
• Install, configure, commission and support wireless networks in the assigned territory
• Be the first point of contact for clients reported network outages
• Assist senior technical management in solving escalated network problems
• Provide periodic wireless network health report to immediate manager
• Keep working towards excellence in wireless technologies and products
Qualification: A bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic/telecommunications is required. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Some experience and/or knowledge in wireless area will be advantageous though.

9- Network Engineer, SP Core (2 x Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad)

Description
This individual will be assisting the Asst. Manager Core Technologies in carrying out installations, configuration and support of core service provider network.
• Provide level I/II support on core network technologies
• Assist the immediate manager in carrying out installations, configurations and daily support operations
• Be the first point of contact for routine support operations
• Assist senior technical management in solving escalated issues
• Assist new services provisioning and configuration management
• Maintain general core network infrastructure
• Be familiar with few or more of the following: IGP routing (OSPF, IS-IS, EIGRP, RIP), BGP/MBGP, MPLS and MPLS services, LAN switching, Windows and Sun Solaris operating systems
Qualification: A bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic/telecommunications is desirable. Cisco certifications such as CCNA, CCNP will be highly preferred. If not in possession of such certifications, the individual should have plans to attain CCNP within 6 months of employment. 1-2 years of general Cisco based networking support is required for this position.
